Synology DSM 6.0 – disable 2 factor authentication via SSH

Leider habe ich bei einer Neuinstallation meines Smartphones die 2 Factor Authentifizierung der Synology DSM nicht rechtzeitig deaktiviert. Als zusätzliches Sicherheitsfeature dürfen Administratoren ihr Passwort nicht per Email zurücksetzten. Nun was tun sprach Zeus?

Zuersteinmal googeln und die Ergebnisse sind gar gruselig. Also einfach zusammenstückeln bis man das richtige hat.

Ich konnte jederzeit via ssh und Terminal auf meine Synology zugreifen.

Also zuerst via ssh einloggen.

Dann macht man sich zu root.

$ sudo -i

Jetzt dein Accountpasswort eingeben danach folgenden Befehl eingeben.

root@___$ rm /usr/syno/etc/preference/[accountname]/google_authenticator

Voilá  Du kannst Dich wieder normal einloggen.

make you to root

$ sudo -i

You will be asked for your password. Delete the google authenticator from the following path.

root@___$ rm /usr/syno/etc/preference/[accountname]/google_authenticator

Voilá now you can login in the webinterface from your Synology DSM 6.0
